First Day of School!

Yesterday was the first day back to school!  It was relatively uneventful.  Casey reported that Mia had a few tears at drop off, but for the most part, she was fine.  Here are a few pics and emails from the CCDS teachers. 

Email from Luke's teacher, Mrs. Smyth:

Hi Stacy and Casey,

Luke was instrumental today in our 1^st project.  He noticed that our big classroom clock did not have a mouse.  We are going to make a mouse for that clock now!  Here is a quote on part of the construction  “I was thinking we could cut out the whiskers and glue them on.”

He’s off to a great start.  I will start assessments next week and individual lessons should be up and running in about two weeks.
